Job Summary

This role is for an MSAT Process Engineer specializing in Packaging within Sterile Drug Product Manufacturing (SDPM), focusing on getting medicines to patients quickly and efficiently. The successful candidate will leverage extensive expertise in packaging technology and GMP to solve complex problems and drive continuous optimization in pharmaceutical production. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing or co-managing complex projects aimed at improving production efficiency, implementing process optimization, and introducing new technologies within the packaging operation. The engineer will also coordinate and execute qualification, validation, and re-qualification activities, act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant equipment and KPIs, and actively participate in root-cause analyses (RCA) and audit representation. This position is crucial for implementing new primary and secondary packaging materials and devices for aseptic filling, ensuring compliance, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve workflows, contributing directly to Roche's goal of delivering groundbreaking medicines.
