Job Summary
This permanent, full-time role, available remotely across Germany starting January 2026, seeks an experienced Data Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of the corporate Data Warehouse architecture for the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. The core responsibilities include configuring and administering DWH databases in collaboration with the IT department, ensuring robust Data Governance, and continuously evolving data models. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of ETL jobs, from conception and implementation to monitoring and performance optimization within the Business Intelligence environment. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related MINT field, coupled with several years of professional experience in Data Engineering. Proficiency in SQL and specific ETL tools like IBM Data Stage, Informatica, or SAS, along with database administration experience (e.g., MariaDB, MS SQL), is essential for success in this innovative and secure position.
