Job Summary

The K+S Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their Infrastructure Services unit in Kassel, focusing on the technological advancement of their Cloud Platform. This role is central to designing, building, and integrating requirements using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), particularly supporting AI & Data projects within agile teams. Key responsibilities include ensuring the operational stability, scalability, and security of cloud environments, as well as developing and optimizing CI/CD deployment processes utilizing GitLab. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with several years of practical experience in a Cloud or DevOps Engineering capacity. Proficiency in cloud technologies (preferably AWS), container orchestration (ECS, ECK), and strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management and Cloud Security are essential. Excellent German and English skills (B2 level) are required to facilitate documentation and stakeholder collaboration.
