Job Summary

This full-time role as an Environmental Engineer within the Environmental Protection and Permitting division at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, located at the Zielitz plant, focuses on ensuring sustainable operations through rigorous environmental compliance. The core responsibilities include active participation in projects and permitting procedures, with a strong emphasis on environmental planning. You will be instrumental in guaranteeing adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, particularly concerning nature conservation, immission control, environmental impact assessments, and species protection. Key daily tasks involve establishing and implementing a robust environmental management system, preparing comprehensive permitting documents and operational plans, conducting site inspections, and managing interfaces with various technical departments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Natural Sciences, Environmental Technology, or Environmental Law, possesses expert knowledge of Mining Law and Environmental Law, and demonstrates proven experience in managing complex permitting and compensation measures.
