Job Summary
This senior leadership role involves managing Division 12, focusing on Information Technology and Internal Services within the Schleswig-Holstein Institute for Vocational Education (SHIBB) in Kiel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall IT budget management, acting as the primary representative for IT and digitalization, and defining IT strategy, architecture, and requirements for the SHIBB business area. Key daily tasks include steering complex projects related to IT, digitalization, OZG (Online Access Act), E-File implementation, and infrastructure, as well as coordinating occupational health and safety and leading the Internal Services department. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant IT field or the necessary senior civil service qualification, coupled with substantial professional experience in both IT and the state service. Education
Required: Civil Service Qualification (Laufbahngruppe 2, 2nd Entry Level, General Services) OR Master’s degree (or University Diploma) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Informatics.

- Minimum two years of professional experience in the IT sector
- Minimum two years of professional experience in the State Service of Schleswig-Holstein
- Professional experience in employee leadership (desired)
- Professional experience in digitalization and innovation management (desired)
