Job Summary

This role involves working as a Specialist System Engineer within the IT System House of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), focusing on template technology. You will be part of an interdisciplinary, agile team responsible for developing and operating the central template management system, which provides standardized, legally compliant, and automated document templates nationwide. Day-to-day tasks include planning, managing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, analyzing system requirements, and ensuring system availability and security. A core focus is on conceptualizing standards and roadmaps for product-specific software development, ensuring code quality through testing and reviews, and integrating modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence into template creation. The position requires deep knowledge in software development/operations and troubleshooting, offering a flexible work environment with up to 80% home office and contributing to the digital transformation and Green IT initiatives of one of Germany's largest IT landscapes.
