Job Summary

This permanent position requires a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician to join a water and environmental services company, focusing on the analysis of diverse samples including drinking water, wastewater, and environmental matrices according to legal regulations. The core focus is on organic analysis, specifically investigating mineral oil hydrocarbons, PAHs, and other specialized contaminants. Daily tasks involve comprehensive sample preparation, validation, evaluation, and control of testing procedures, ensuring the reliability of results, and executing tasks within the quality assurance framework. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical-Technical Assistant (PTA), or an equivalent laboratory qualification. Expertise in modern instrumental analysis, particularly GC methods (GC-MS, GC-FID, GC-ECD), HPLC, and LC-MS/MS, is mandatory. The role offers immediate entry, flexible working hours (full-time 39 hrs/week or part-time 25-35 hrs/week), and compensation based on the company's collective bargaining agreement, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced lab professionals.
