Job Summary

This role is a permanent position within a specialized water and environmental service provider, focusing on detailed chemical analysis. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will be responsible for investigating diverse samples from drinking water, wastewater, and environmental sectors, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. A key focus area is organic analysis, including the examination of mineral oil hydrocarbons, PAHs, and other specific contaminants, primarily utilizing advanced instrumental techniques. Daily tasks involve comprehensive sample preparation, rigorous validation, evaluation, and control of testing procedures, securing investigation results, and executing tasks related to quality assurance systems. Candidates must possess vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant or equivalent laboratory qualification, coupled with extensive hands-on experience in instrumental analysis (GC, HPLC, LC-MS/MS) and sample preparation. The position offers flexibility, available in full-time (39 hours/week) or part-time (25-35 hours/week) with flextime options.
