Job Summary

The Senior Professional System Engineer will join a dynamic team responsible for the stable operation, quality, and continuous development of one of Germany's largest on-premise Microsoft Skype for Business installations, while simultaneously driving the transition to cloud-based collaboration services like Microsoft Teams. Day-to-day tasks include planning, managing, and maintaining complex IT systems and infrastructure, performing system analysis, and ensuring system availability and security. A core focus is the conception, design, and software development (SW-Entwicklung) for a critical portal solution used for group/user administration and number management. Candidates must possess a university degree (preferably in Computer Science or Business Informatics) and several years of relevant professional experience, coupled with deep expertise in software development, infrastructure troubleshooting, and specific technologies including C#, PowerShell, MSSQL, and modern frameworks like Angular and .NET. This role offers the opportunity to work within the massive IT landscape of the Federal Employment Agency (BA) with the flexibility of up to 80% remote work.
