Job Summary

As an Energy Management Engineer for the City of Herford's real estate division, you will be instrumental in reducing urban energy consumption and the city's carbon footprint. Your daily tasks will involve conducting fundamental analyses, developing concepts for alternative and renewable energy sources, and initiating and implementing energy-saving projects with internal and external partners. You will optimize consumption data acquisition, build and maintain an energy data management system, and identify potential measures for building envelopes and technical building equipment. This role requires strong expertise in energy efficiency, building automation systems, and the energetic renovation of buildings.
