Job Summary

This Professional System Engineer role focuses on ensuring stable, secure, and data-protection-compliant real-time communication services, primarily utilizing Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business, for over 130,000 users within the Federal Employment Agency's IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, administering, and maintaining IT systems, analyzing performance data, and developing/monitoring software and hardware. A critical component of the role is supporting the transition to cloud-based collaboration services, specifically expanding the functionality of Microsoft Teams, including automation using PowerShell scripting. Candidates should possess a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, deep knowledge of Microsoft Teams administration, and experience in integrating Teams into Microsoft M365 environments. This position offers the opportunity to work on one of Germany's largest on-premise Skype for Business installations while actively shaping the future of enterprise collaboration.
