Job Summary

This role is with ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, a leader enabling the production of smaller, more powerful, and energy-efficient microchips. As a member of the development team, the Software Developer will be instrumental in shaping the future of micro- and nanoelectronics. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and validating comprehensive test concepts, supporting internal staff and external service providers in implementing these concepts, and designing automated system tests using common methodologies like Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL). A core focus will be utilizing state-of-the-art technology to increase software system test coverage and building new End-to-End test systems, integrating them into the DevOps process. The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with long-term professional experience in developing test concepts for embedded software and applying testing frameworks for functional test automation. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in both German and English are required.
