Job Summary

This Senior SAP Project Manager role is situated within the internal IT department (SMT-IT) of ZEISS's Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology division, a global leader enabling the production of advanced microchips. The core responsibility involves overseeing demand and project management within the SAP ERP landscape, acting as the central interface between IT and business units. Day-to-day tasks include defining requirements, developing professional solutions with specialists, creating detailed project plans, coordinating hybrid project teams (including internal/external developers), and ensuring projects meet time and budget constraints. A significant focus will be leading complex workstreams and potentially program management tasks related to strategic initiatives, such as the S/4HANA Bluefield migration. Successful candidates must possess a relevant university degree, five years of demonstrated experience leading complex ERP projects, and expertise in one or more SAP modules (e.g., PP, QM, PM/EAM). The role requires strong analytical abilities, structured problem-solving skills, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
