Job Summary

This position calls for a Control Systems Design Engineer specializing in Electrical and Automation Technology to join an internationally operating company. The core focus of the role is the development and design of sophisticated control systems for customized machinery and industrial plants. Key daily tasks include creating PLC programs, developing associated visualizations, and formulating comprehensive automation and control concepts. The engineer will engage in close interdisciplinary collaboration with departments such as Purchasing, Sales, Mechanical Design, and Manufacturing. A crucial responsibility is the commissioning and final testing of machines and systems, both at the company site and at customer locations worldwide. Ideal candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, or possess equivalent technical qualifications. Fundamental knowledge of PLC programming (SIMATIC/Rockwell) and proficiency in both German and English are required, along with a strong willingness to travel internationally.
