Job Summary

This role is for an Energy Grid Engineer focused on optimizing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing security within a regional infrastructure service provider specializing in power, heat, water, and modern energy solutions. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the local energy transition in the Lake Constance region. Key responsibilities include monitoring and implementing legal requirements and technical norms (VDE, DIN) for electricity grids, economically optimizing network operations, and driving the digitalization of the grid infrastructure. You will coordinate interfaces and processes, engage in technical exchange with customers and upstream operators, and play a crucial role in security management, supporting certifications like TSM (Electricity), ISMS, ISO 9001, and EMAS, potentially acting as the ISMS representative. The position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Economics, multi-year experience in the energy sector, and participation in on-call duty rotations.
