Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Development Professional to join the Digital Services and Innovation department, contributing directly to the internal security of Germany by automating critical workflows for investigators. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of software solutions, including design, implementation, debugging, and continuous development. A key focus is the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery within the organization's cloud environment. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with comprehensive knowledge of Python (3.x), Django, and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. This position requires strong organizational skills, resilience, and a cooperative, team-oriented approach, offering a secure, meaningful job within a federal authority in Wiesbaden.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Diploma (FH) or Bachelor) in Computer Science, or equivalent comparable abilities and experience combined with a completed vocational training in IT.

Experience

  • At least three years of professional experience in an IT-related occupation (required if not holding a relevant university degree)
  • Professional experience working in agile teams
  • Experience with software containerization and orchestration tools

  • Consent to undergo an extended security clearance check (Sicherheitsüberprüfung nach § 9 SÜG) is mandatory.
