Job Summary

This crucial role involves leading and strategically guiding the Process Development team at Axolabs, a key player in RNA therapeutics and part of the global LGC Group. The Team Lead/Principal Scientist is responsible for developing cutting-edge, innovative synthesis processes and optimizing customer-specific manufacturing procedures for nucleic acid-based medicines. Day-to-day activities include fostering the professional and personal development of team members, evaluating the technical feasibility and material availability for bespoke client projects, and managing projects end-to-end in close collaboration with Business Development and Quality Management. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in oligonucleotide chemistry, leadership capability, and technical proficiency with synthesis automation and HPLC systems.
