Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated IT professional focusing on core infrastructure management and automation within a dynamic environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include the configuration and administration of firewalls, specifically Sophos XG, and the maintenance of SQL databases, ideally SQL Server 2016. A key function involves developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to enhance IT automation and managing virtualization environments using Hyper-V servers (preferably Server 2016). Additionally, the specialist will be involved in creating and optimizing reports using List & Label and administering ManageEngine solutions. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of system administration experience and proven proficiency in the required technologies. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable contract and the potential for permanent takeover by the client, appealing to structured, solution-oriented individuals with a high degree of initiative.
