Expert Application Developer, EUDI Wallet | Fachinformatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as an Expert Application Developer within the International Data Exchange department, focusing specifically on implementing the European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet for Germany's largest pension provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing current developments related to European digital identity, coordinating and developing procedures for electronic proofs, and conceptually advancing methods, processes, and underlying cryptographic techniques, specifically Verifiable Credentials. The expert will also be heavily involved in software development, quality management, conducting software tests, and providing second-level support for incident management. Key qualifications require a university degree or vocational training in IT, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience and extensive knowledge in complex application development, preferably utilizing technologies like Java EE and JCL.
