Job Summary

This role involves pioneering research in circular economy and environmental technology, specifically focusing on developing an AI-based sorting system for footwear reuse. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a criteria catalog for shoe reusability, evaluating sensor systems, and developing detection methods to capture the 3D geometry of shoes. A core part of the job is the development, validation, and assessment of the industrial scalability of a machine learning-based sorting model. Furthermore, the researcher will define design and collection criteria for footwear to enhance longevity. This position requires a Master's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, strong English skills, and adherence to the MSCA mobility rule. Required Skills
