Job Summary

This role, based in Magdeburg, seeks a dedicated Laboratory Technician to perform general laboratory activities, focusing heavily on the analysis of metal content. Key daily responsibilities include the preparation and execution of analytical metal content determinations, mechanical sample preparation using various laboratory equipment (such as jaw crushers, roller mills, sieving machines, and drying/melting furnaces), and conducting detailed sample analyses, including manual sorting. The technician will also operate and monitor measuring instruments, specifically XRF-based devices, and meticulously document and evaluate analysis data for quality control purposes. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician or equivalent, coupled with practical experience in a laboratory setting, preferably within metal or recycling analysis.
