Job Summary

This permanent position as a Laboratory Technician, operating exclusively on a day shift in Magdeburg, involves essential analytical and preparatory work within a laboratory setting, ideally focused on metal or recycling analytics. The core responsibilities include the preparation and execution of analytical metal content determinations, utilizing specialized laboratory equipment such as jaw crushers, roller mills, and sieving machines. The technician is also responsible for operating and monitoring advanced measuring instruments, specifically XRF-based systems, and performing subsequent documentation and evaluation of analysis data for quality control purposes. A successful candidate must possess completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician, Precious Metal Tester, or an equivalent qualification, coupled with practical experience in a relevant laboratory environment.
