This role involves working as an IT Specialist at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the processing and integration of Microcredentials (stepwise acquired study achievements) into the university's IT infrastructure. The specialist will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of this system, including requirements gathering, system selection, planning, deployment, and integration using APIs and interfaces. Key tasks include ensuring seamless integration with existing campus management or ERP systems and maintaining underlying database technologies (like MySQL). The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree, preferably in Computer Science, coupled with several years of professional experience in configuring interfaces (REST, etc.) and managing databases. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, team capability, and fluency in both German and English, contributing to knowledge transfer and user training within the academic environment.
