Job Summary

This is a critical leadership role focusing on the technical direction and development of the IT infrastructure for the Hochtaunuskreis regional district. The Deputy Head will collaborate closely with the Department Head and team leaders to define strategic and operational goals, ensuring seamless IT operations. Core responsibilities include the specialized technical leadership of IT teams, developing and implementing IT strategies and digitalization concepts, and managing technical IT projects. A strong background in IT security, data protection, and compliance, along with experience in virtualization, network administration, and data center operations, is essential. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possesses at least five years of leadership experience in IT, coupled with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This position offers significant scope for design and strategy within a modern, future-oriented digital administration.
