Job Summary

This leadership position requires an experienced IT professional to head the technical team responsible for the strategic development and operational support of digital infrastructure across county schools. The role involves spearheading the conceptual design and continuous improvement of school IT equipment, ensuring alignment with both technical standards and pedagogical needs. Daily tasks include managing the IT team, coordinating significant IT procurement processes, planning and controlling financial resources, and establishing a structured reporting system for departmental leadership. The successful candidate must possess a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related IT field, coupled with several years of experience in a comparable leadership capacity. Crucial expertise includes robust knowledge of data protection (GDPR), IT security standards (BSI/ISO 27001), and practical experience implementing an ISMS based on ITIL v4.
