Job Summary

This role involves leading the electrical design and planning team for a specialist in fully automated transport and storage systems used in the high-tech semiconductor industry. The Lead Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for the electrotechnical implementation of new developments and complex customer projects, ensuring compliance with the Machinery Directive and relevant VDE norms. Day-to-day tasks include managing a small team of two electrical designers, coordinating technical details between the development and manufacturing departments, and collaborating closely with project management and executive leadership across all project phases. Key deliverables include creating detailed circuit diagrams, bills of materials, and comprehensive technical and CE documentation, alongside conducting necessary safety assessments for the systems. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in electrical design and proficiency in CAD tools like WSCAD or EPLAN.
