Job Summary

This role seeks a passionate and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to drive challenging digitalization projects as a primary partner for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex IT projects, spanning planning, coordination, execution, and commissioning. Key focus areas include Data Center Infrastructure & Automation, IT Security, and application operations/migration in cloud environments. Day-to-day tasks involve translating customer needs into robust IT solutions, leading project teams and suppliers, managing conflicts, and ensuring transparent reporting to senior management and external stakeholders. Candidates must possess a degree in IT or Business Administration, coupled with at least four years of professional experience leading complex IT projects, ideally involving public sector clients. Proficiency in established project management methodologies and strong leadership capabilities are mandatory for success in this impactful position.
