Job Summary

This role is for an IT Service Technician specializing in Field Service, supporting a renowned German mechanical engineering company located in Munich-Northwest. The core responsibilities involve maintaining the customer's IT infrastructure, focusing heavily on on-site 1st and 2nd level support, hardware/software provisioning, and infrastructure optimization. Day-to-day tasks include managing the service point inventory, configuring and issuing loaner notebooks, distributing peripherals for communication tools (like Skype for Business accessories), and providing telephone support for mobile rollouts. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training in the IT sector, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, and possess strong knowledge of PC, notebook, and mobile device hardware (iPhones/iPads).
