Job Summary

This role is for a specialized Electrical Engineering Technician or Engineer to lead a five-person High Voltage Maintenance team based in Memmingen. The primary responsibility is ensuring the secure and efficient operation of a vast regional power distribution network, focusing specifically on 25 substations and approximately 200km of high-voltage transmission lines. Day-to-day tasks involve leading the team, managing maintenance measures from work preparation and scheduling (disposition) through to data revision, and actively participating in process improvement and digitalization initiatives within maintenance. The ideal candidate will be an innovative thinker with extensive experience in high-voltage system maintenance, possessing the drive and organizational skills necessary to ensure maximum supply reliability and network performance. Readiness for on-call duty outside regular working hours and flexibility for travel are key requirements, making this an attractive role for a hands-on technical leader committed to advancing a climate-friendly energy future.
