Job Summary
This role involves managing the grid connection process for large-scale generation systems and battery storage units within the LEW distribution network. The Engineer acts as the central point of contact, developing grid connection and metering concepts, and ensuring compliance with technical standards, relevant laws (such as EEG, KWKG, EnWG), and remuneration requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical documentation, registering systems in the company database, and providing customer consultation on connection matters. The position requires close collaboration with internal departments like grid planning and metering, as well as external service providers. A key aspect of the job is actively shaping processes, contributing to expert teams, and developing solutions to navigate the rapidly changing regulatory landscape of the energy industry, ensuring a cost-effective energy transition.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience with applicable technical guidelines (e.g., VDE-AR-N 4120/4110)
- Experience with generation systems and battery storage connection processes
- Professional experience in a solution-oriented and precise working manner
