This role is central to designing, implementing, and documenting advanced automation and remote control technology projects, primarily within the energy sector. The Automation Technician / PLC Programmer will independently execute the installation, parameterization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of remote control, control, and automation systems. Key responsibilities include programming, visualizing, and testing PLC controls (e.g., Siemens, Wago, Phoenix Contact), setting up generation unit controllers (EZA-Regler), and ensuring data communication between transformer stations and grid operators using protocols like IEC. The ideal candidate is a certified technician or master in electrical or automation engineering with multi-year experience in the field, proficient in specific PLC systems and remote control protocols.
