Job Summary

This role offers an opportunity to join the Cell Banking & Analytics department within the Clinical Supply Center (CSC) at Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg. The specialist will be responsible for the operational manufacturing of cell banks under strict GMP conditions, which are critical starting materials for producing biological active ingredients for clinical development and market supply. Day-to-day activities include the cultivation of pro- and eukaryotic cells in shakers and 20L fermentation scale, harvesting, filling, and freezing cells, as well as preparing cell culture media up to 500 liters. The position requires meticulous GMP-compliant documentation, equipment maintenance, and involvement in quality assurance tasks like deviation management and creating work instructions. This is a vital, varied role requiring experience in sterile laboratory environments and familiarity with GMP regulations, ensuring reliable supply to clinical studies and patients.
