Job Summary

This role seeks a highly skilled Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and operation of high-performance, scalable Java-based backend services and APIs. The successful candidate will actively shape architecture decisions, focusing on Cloud-native principles, resiliency, and maintainability. Key responsibilities include ensuring robust code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and implementing modern Observability practices using tools like OpenTelemetry. You will maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and leverage modern patterns like Event-Driven Design. Candidates must possess multi-year Java expertise, proficiency with Spring Boot or Quarkus, and deep knowledge of relational and multimodal databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with Kubernetes, Container technologies, and message brokers (Kafka) is crucial for securing complex, future-proof system landscapes. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively in an agile team environment while utilizing excellent German and English communication skills.
