Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position is for a Technical Assistant in Reagent Research at a chemical company located near Cologne. The core responsibilities involve hands-on laboratory work, specifically the preparation of magnetic particles and the execution of complex biochemical coupling reactions utilizing advanced analytical and chromatographic procedures. A critical component of the role is the meticulous documentation and evaluation of all biological and chemical testing results. Furthermore, the assistant will be expected to continuously optimize and develop chemical, biological, and immunological methods, working closely with other production teams on product optimization efforts. Candidates must have successfully completed vocational training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, or possess a comparable qualification. Initial experience in performing biochemical or biological analyses is highly desirable, and proficiency in standard MS Office applications is mandatory.
