Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Utility Systems Engineer to join the NBB Netzgesellschaft Berlin-Brandenburg team in Berlin-Mariendorf, focusing on the operational service unit. The primary responsibility is ensuring the rule-compliant, stable, and economical operation of the service, particularly within the energy supply sector. Day-to-day tasks involve significant financial planning, including contributing to expenditure and investment budgets, monitoring adherence, and analyzing financial variances to initiate corrective actions. The engineer will also drive organizational efficiency by supporting workflow development, managing event and communication processes, and optimizing shift systems for emergency response. Key technical duties include applying and further developing Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) and supporting technical monitoring systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant engineering discipline (such as Utility Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering), possesses multi-year professional experience in energy supply, specifically gas technology, and is proficient in Office 365, SAP, and GIS systems. The position offers competitive compensation (€80,000 - €99,000), a secure, permanent contract, and excellent work-life balance with 30 days of paid leave.
