Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and end-user services for the City of Hildesheim's extensive municipal network, covering approximately 1,300 workstations across 60 properties. The specialist will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and deployment of IT end devices, including laptops, PCs, smartphones, and tablets, utilizing modern management tools like Matrix42, Ivanti Neurons, and Jamf School. Key daily tasks include handling user support via phone, remote maintenance, and on-site visits, processing service requests and disruptions within a ticketing system, and managing hardware and software assets. This position requires a high degree of independence, customer-orientation, and the ability to perform physical tasks related to setting up and transporting equipment across the city, making a Class B driving license mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT system integration or equivalent practical experience.
