Job Summary

This critical role involves operating and monitoring industrial chemical production facilities for a major manufacturing group. The operator is responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing process, including the handling, mixing, preparation, and filling of various chemical products. Key daily tasks include controlling and supervising the production plant, both locally and from the control room using Process Control Systems (PLS), performing routine sampling, and testing batch quality. Furthermore, the operator is expected to operate, check, and maintain complex apparatus, troubleshoot production disruptions, and perform necessary cleaning and conversion of pipeline systems. Candidates must possess completed vocational training as a Chemical Technician or equivalent professional experience in the chemical industry. Essential requirements include practical experience in a comparable role, strong knowledge of PLS, and the ability to read P&ID flow diagrams (RI-Fließbilder). The position requires mandatory German skills and a willingness to work in rotating shift patterns.
