Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Hardware Engineer to support a prominent client in the engineering and power plant construction sector located in Erlangen. The primary focus of this position is the creation of comprehensive manufacturing documentation for control cabinets used within safety control technology, ensuring alignment with qualified hardware platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing critical technical calculations, such as determining current consumption, power dissipation, and voltage drop, as well as estimating operational temperatures within the systems. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for managing all generated documentation using a specified document management system and coordinating closely with the manufacturing, testing (Prüffeld), and commissioning teams to finalize customer documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Diploma degree in a relevant engineering field and possesses initial professional experience, coupled with excellent proficiency in both German and English.
