Job Summary
This role involves serving as the central point of contact and strategic advisor for school IT equipment and digital education initiatives within the Middle Franconia district administration. Key daily activities include planning and coordinating IT projects, conducting market observation of technological trends, and managing procurement measures for IT equipment. The officer will also plan, execute, and moderate workshops and participatory processes, while supporting institutions with their IT equipment needs. Essential qualifications include a background in public administration (equivalent to the 3rd qualification level or specialized administrative exams) or a relevant degree like Public Management. The ideal candidate must possess high IT affinity, strong communication skills, and proven professional experience, ideally with knowledge of procurement and public contract law, making this a crucial role in advancing regional digital education infrastructure.

Education
Qualification for the 3rd qualification level (formerly higher service) of the Administration and Finance career path, or successfully passed Specialist Examination II for administrative employees (AL II or BL II), or a successfully completed comparable degree (e.g., Bachelor of Arts Public Management, Bachelor of Arts Digital Administration)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in procurement / public contract law and financial resources (desirable)
