Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Project Manager to take responsible leadership over complex structural hydraulic engineering projects across Leipzig, Dresden, or Chemnitz. The core responsibilities involve independently planning, monitoring, and executing large-scale projects, including the complete handling and dimensioning of critical infrastructure such as flood protection systems, locks, weirs, and pumping stations (concrete and steel construction). A key aspect of the job is coordinating communication and workflows among clients, subcontractors, service providers, and internal engineering teams, alongside meticulous budget and resource calculation. The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with a focus on Structural Hydraulic Engineering or Infrastructure and possesses long-term professional experience in DIN/Eurocode-compliant water construction, preferably in a leadership role. Essential qualifications include secure knowledge of permitting and current public procurement law, experience with AVA programs (like RIB iTWO), and strategic planning capabilities.
