Head of Development, Large Machinery | Entwicklungsleiter Großmaschinen (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This leadership position is based in Dortmund and requires an experienced professional to head the Development Department within the Large Machinery Product Center. The core responsibilities include leading the department, managing and coordinating complex development projects both internally and across product centers, and ensuring adherence to the Product Development Process (PEP) through rigorous planning, reporting, and controlling. You will be responsible for coordinating technical project teams, aligning project content with various stakeholders, including suppliers and other departments, and overseeing the successful commissioning of new developments (zero series implementation) at customer sites. Candidates must hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, coupled with several years of experience leading both development projects and technical teams.
