Job Summary

This role is for a Lead Civil Engineer specializing in the management and execution of highly complex infrastructure projects, including bridge construction, roadworks, and general civil engineering endeavors. The successful candidate will act as the project owner, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initial planning and procurement through to final handover and billing. Key responsibilities involve coordinating the tendering process, managing engineering contracts with external firms, developing cost-sharing agreements, and rigorously reviewing and negotiating change orders. The position requires a university degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in structural or road engineering, coupled with deep knowledge of German construction regulations (VOB, HOAI) and administrative law.
