Job Summary

This role as a Laboratory Technician places you at the forefront of quality assurance and product development for Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP), a critical material for lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles and energy storage. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the sophisticated investigation of battery material samples using modern instrumental analysis techniques. A core duty involves constructing lab-scale batteries from these materials and rigorously testing their performance capabilities. Furthermore, you will independently lead development and implementation projects within the battery technology domain, requiring you to create project plans, manage resources, and present results to the team or management. This position is attractive due to its blend of hands-on laboratory work and project leadership, offering intensive training in the electrochemistry of battery materials and excellent career development opportunities within an innovative European LFP manufacturer. Success requires a relevant technical qualification, strong analytical skills, and flexibility for shift work.
