Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the quality and safety of all construction activities related to the expansion and reinforcement of the power grid, specifically focusing on overhead line construction. Day-to-day tasks include performing site inspections, conducting quality assurance checks from foundation and steel construction up to conductor stringing, and managing defect remediation. The inspector will conduct checks both from the ground and via mast descents (working at heights), requiring suitability for height work and potentially industrial climbing experience or the willingness to train. Key requirements include a completed vocational, master, or technician qualification in electrical engineering, steel construction, or plant engineering, or a relevant university degree. The position demands high engagement, reliability, strong documentation skills (protocols, reports), proficiency in MS Office, and a Class B driving license, along with significant willingness to travel.
