Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Payroll and Tax Consulting Assistant to manage complex compensation and compliance tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling correspondence with various authorities, such as social security providers and health insurance companies, and providing expert advice on all billing and remuneration-related issues. A core function is the independent, timely creation and booking of monthly wage and salary statements. The ideal candidate must possess a strong commercial background, preferably augmented by additional qualifications in HR or payroll specialization (e.g., Certified Payroll Specialist). Success requires a high degree of reliability, team spirit, and a willingness to continuously integrate new legal information, leveraging fundamental knowledge of wage tax, labor, and social security law, alongside familiarity with modern HR and time tracking systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial vocational training; ideally, additional qualification as a Certified HR Specialist or Specialist Assistant for Wage and Salary

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in wage and salary accounting is preferred
  • Profound knowledge of wage tax, labor, and social security law
  • Experience utilizing HR, payroll, and time tracking systems
