Job Summary

This role involves the central operation and monitoring of technical building systems and server infrastructure within the university's technical facility management department. Key daily tasks include maintaining technical systems, administering computer systems and networks, switching data points for building systems (like HVAC), and analyzing system weaknesses (MSR parameters). The specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a technical network, implementing BACnet, and documenting work in the CAFM system. A crucial part of the job is participating in the planning and implementation of new Building Management Systems (BMS/GLT) and participating in an on-call service rotation. Candidates must have a background in IT system electronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology, coupled with professional experience in network administration and Building Management Systems.
