Job Summary

This role, based near Munich in the aerospace sector, requires a dedicated Systems Engineer to contribute significantly to the development and qualification of self-protection systems. Key daily responsibilities include participating in system conceptualization, evaluating and defining customer and system requirements, and providing technical management for work packages and both internal and external subcontractors. The engineer will be responsible for designing system and subsystem components, defining interfaces, and establishing the necessary qualification tests and proof procedures. Furthermore, the role involves hands-on integration, commissioning, and testing at both subsystem and system levels. Candidates must possess a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, coupled with professional experience in Systems Engineering and knowledge of electrical assemblies, signal processing, hardware, and software. This position offers high responsibility, including managing quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment for assigned work packages, and providing direct customer support during project execution and acceptance.
