Job Summary

This role seeks an Avionics Test Facility Operations Engineer to manage and maintain critical real-time testing systems and simulation environments for a prominent client in Manching. The core responsibilities involve the daily operation of complex avionics test facilities, providing essential support to system testers, and ensuring maximum uptime through proactive fault analysis and rapid troubleshooting of both test systems and associated IT infrastructure. A key component of the role is the independent development, implementation, and integration of necessary changes and updates to the test facilities. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training combined with significant professional experience in IT/Information Systems. Success in this position requires strong technical knowledge in IT/network technology, scripting, and programming, alongside fluent proficiency in both German and English. The position is permanent and requires readiness for occasional shift work (approximately 10-12 times annually).
