Job Summary

This leadership role involves establishing and managing a Quality Control (QC) laboratory team within an innovative pharmaceutical company specializing in niche products. The Laboratory Lead is responsible for the strategic planning, efficient coordination, and oversight of analytical projects. Day-to-day tasks include leading the development of new analytical methods, optimizing existing procedures, managing method validation and transfer, and ensuring rigorous documentation by creating and formally approving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and validation documents. The role requires fostering knowledge exchange in interdisciplinary teams and regularly reporting on project progress. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant natural science field (Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry), extensive practical experience in instrumental analytics, particularly HPLC and GC, and proven project management expertise. Success in this position requires a strong quality focus and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
