Job Summary

This role requires an experienced and technically proficient leader to manage the dedicated ten-person 'IT for Schools' Support Team. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the reliable functioning of IT environments in schools across the organization's member districts (Düsseldorf, Rhein-Kreis Neuss, Mönchengladbach) through both on-site and remote support. Day-to-day tasks involve active participation in support activities, acting as the primary point of contact for technical and organizational issues, resource planning, task prioritization, and ensuring timely order processing. The role also includes supporting procurement processes, product comparisons, and calculations for new IT components, as well as analyzing and resolving incidents to achieve sustainable operational improvements. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification combined with several years of professional IT experience, alongside comprehensive knowledge of client hardware, software, and specific school IT environments.
